Today’s Quote

Open door on long empty asphalt road, highway towards sun. Hope, success, new way concepts etc.

“Anyone whose goal is ‘something higher’ must expect someday to suffer vertigo. What is vertigo? Fear of falling? No, Vertigo is something other than fear of falling. It is the voice of the emptiness below us which tempts and lures us, it is the desire to fall, against which, terrified, we defend ourselves.”

  1. Kinda “off topic”
    But, my Dear Great Friend,

I shoot from my hip and I am too stupid and lazy the curb / edit my initial thoughts when commenting on something that moves me.

My initial thought here goes like this:

I recall when I was in Navy SEAL training and we had to run the “O” Course every Thursday…

There was this really high cargo net obstacle we had to navigate.

Once I got to the top and had to climb over to make my way down to the beach there in Coronado and safety…

    I just kept tellimg myself,

    “Don’t look down”

    Great post My Dear Friend

    Cheers,
