I hear ya there! Back then, music was awesome and you couldn’t sit down when it was playing. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ You still can’t! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί(Darn I wish they had a disco-ball icon! I’m still lookin’ for it.)

LMBO…no not the disco ball. You know, you could probably find one at the thrift store or a flea market if you really want one. Girl, that era was a good one. I was in college and when we would go out on the weekends, all we wanted to do was dance. Didn’t drink much, but boy would we wear out the dance floor. The disco ball added that extra ambiance that drove us WILD!!! πŸ˜†πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ˜˜πŸ•ΊπŸ½πŸŽΆ That’s probably why I stayed small back then! πŸ€”πŸ€£πŸ˜œ

Girrrl! I envy you because I was too young to go out dancing during the 70s. The first time I went out to the dance club was 1989. I was in the 11th grade and hanging out with college-aged people to compensate for being bullied and shunned by those in my age group, so I had a few friend who were already out of high school. Can you say, “Fake IDs?” 😁😁😁😜

I can only imagine, KT. My heart goes out to the Vietnam Vets because many of them have dealt with PTSD for the bad stuff they had to see and endure over there. And when they came back home, they were met with a lot of hatred- they were spat on, flipped off, and called “baby killers.” It makes me sick to even think about it. It’s disgusting how our own government treated them.
