  1. War. Such an odd thing to remember. I personally like to remember 2005 – the year with the least conflict-related deaths in the last hundred years. If I was to be pushed to supply a date I’d probably say 30th July – my birthday. Long live life!

  5. Taiwan was ruled by Japan in 1941, if Japan didn’t attack Pearl Harbor, Taiwan is probably still under control of Japanese government. The Chinese Nationalist Party, KMT, in Taiwan intended to make Taiwanese forget about this part of history, which the majority of Chinese hate it. But most locals laud the Japanese time , compared to the KMT party in the earlier stage.
Now, some Korean are fond of teasing Japanese by remarks of “Nagasaki “ or “Hiroshima” where Japan got bombs and surrounded afterwards.
To most Taiwanese, we may not remember the Pearl Harbor, but we do remember the Japanese rule whereas Japanese tried to forget or may not even hear about Taiwan.

May God bless those who died or sacrificed at the Pearl Harbor, and those who survived.

    • I didn’t know that. But China is still trying to provoke Taiwan and they’ve also tried to provoke Japan too. China is truly the bully on the world stage and it’s a shame that the rest of the world doesn’t do more to stand up to those tyrants!

      • Lithuania is the first country that supports Taiwan and they also set up their office in Taiwan for further relationship. China likes to manipulate history to mock other countries, but we cannot overlook its spy network which is global development now. So terrifying ! It takes few minutes for them to target people even when they are overseas.
