Plans for The Blog in 2022

Spread the love

Merry Christmas, my blogger friends and readers!

With only two weeks left until the new year, 2021 has definitely been a rollercoaster ride for many due to the almost 2 years old pandemic. So, my thoughts and prayers go out to those who were hardest hit. My prayers also go out for those who were horribly affected by the recent tornadoes- know that we’re all thinking of and praying for you!

As 2021 draws to a close, some changes are planned for the blog in 2022.

1. Around Jan. 20, the plan is to go self-hosted. I’m excited, yes, but I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t a little frightened at the same time.

2. Another plan is to significantly reduce the frequency of posts to focus more on health, completing unfinished novels, and redecorating.

3. On a personal note, I also plan to finally get that dreaded eye-exam I’ve been putting off. Here in the last few weeks, the words and letters have been running together causing trouble with reading and writing. So, it’s definitely time to bite the bullet.

Cataracts and Macular Degeneration run wild in my family, so pray that I have neither.

These aren’t New Year’s resolutions but only plans. Resolutions tend to fall flat after the first month. 😁

You never know what the future will bring. Personally, I have a sense of renewed hope for the new year and truly believe that we will see the end of the pandemic in 2022! It’s not a prediction, it’s only a feeling I have.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperousΒ  New Year! πŸŽ„πŸ₯³

So, what are your plans for 2022? What hopes and dreams do you have? Feel free to comment below.

I hope your eye exam goes well — I think you’re smart to get one, if you’ve been having trouble with reading. And I wish you well for your plans! I’m in a similar situation. I’m going to slow down my blog posts and focus on a novel. I finished the first draft last year, and I’ve been slowly working on the second draft. Next year, I’ll spend more time on it.

Thank you so much, Dave. I like going to the Eye Dr. about as much as I like going to the dentist. πŸ˜‚ But it’s like taking bad tasting medicine- it’s got to be done. 😊

I wish you massive success on your novel- and in many more novels you haven’t written yet. πŸ™ŒπŸ₯‚πŸΎ

I wish you all the success in the implementation of your plans. May the year 2022 shower upon you the choicest blessings. My plan is to learn a lot from everyone including great friends and fellow bloggers like you. I am a voracious reader and a writer, having published two ebooks and having completed the third one. So I am planning to read and write more. Happy New Year.
