5 Ways to Bust a Cyber-Stalker Who Trolls Your Blog

One of the realities of blogging is that you’re likely to have a cyber-stalking troll or two every now and again. But this certainly doesn’t not mean you should quit blogging. If you love blogging like I do, please keep it up because trolls shouldn’t intimidate you but only give you something to write about. ๐Ÿ˜œ

And there are ways you canย  expose trolls.

During the past few weeks, I’ve had a few trolls try to troll me and it didn’t work. I see their trolling for what it is- a desperate attempt to get attention and power they obviously can’t get in the real world. I feel sorry for these people because it takes a life-loser with absolutely zero redeemable qualities to be a cyberbully/internet troll.

It goes to show that they are bored and miserable people with too much time on their hands, which equals no job, hobbies, nor interests. Boy! I’d sure hate to be such a person. Can you imagine the misery they live in?

Here’s where some creep under the screen name of “Peepeepooperooski,” out of the blue, commented. I feel sad for her because it’s apparent that she has a lot of pinned up anger.

Here’s what I did to bust her.

1. I took screenshots of her threatening comment.

2. I clicked on user info and lo and behold, it gave me her IP and email addresses. I then took a screenshot:

3. Next, I clicked on her email address to see if it showed her picture and…voila! Here’s the crazy with the blue hair. Wow! I just thought of a good parody of an old song,

“Devil with the blue hair, blue hair, blue hair, Devil with the blue hair, ewww!…”

I then took a closeup screenshot.

Before I go further, I should add that if the person is only running their mouths on the internet and you know for a fact they are and can’t do any real damage, it’s best just to ignore the troll. However, if they’re slandering you and ruining your reputation or business, OR…making death threats like this mentally deranged chick here, you absolutely should put in the work to gather your own evidence.

Because you don’t know who you’re dealing with and there have been a few cases where cyber-bullies have found out where their targets live and have traveled to other states or areas to murder them. Though this doesn’t happen often, it does happen. I’ve read a couple of articles where targets have been hunted down and killed by their trolls. Better to be safe than sorry!

4. I stood up to her, warning her of what would happen if she continued to contact me.

The thing about blocking a troll on your blog is that it doesn’t completely disappear the troll. They can still comment, only after you block them, it goes directly to the trash folder, so, be advised. I didn’t know this because, until recently, I was fortunate enough not to have dealt with cyber-bullies on this blog. So, I’m getting a crash course now. I welcome the lesson.

When I went to the trash to empty it. Here are the responses I got from this poor thing. I should warn you that her language is a bit colorful so if you’re offended by toilet vocabulary, you might want to stop here. However, I did black out some of the worst as they were horrible and words I’d never heard in all my years.

Naturally, she went on the defense and attempted to gaslight me, saying that her threat was only a joke and that I should lighten up.

Understand that bullies use this old, worn-out comeback to cover themselves and dupe bystanders and witnesses into believing that the abuse was just playful banter while making the victim look and feel like some dysfunctional whiner whoโ€™s just too sensitive and needs to lighten up.

Only she never succeeded in making me feel like a dysfunctional whiner. Why? Because I see it for what it is- she wants to silence me because she’s panicking now.ย  She never counted on being busted and having her behavior and her face plastered on this blog.

What she doesn’t realize is that her garbage doesn’t offend me at all because she’s a sniveling coward to me. I don’t really care what she thinks, so her opinions mean nothing. However, the threat of violence does concern me as it should anyone. Threats of violence in all caps are never meant to be a joke.

For further reference, you can read this post from March of 2021, “Is it Bullying or Playful Banter.”

If she’ll troll me and threaten me, you can be sure that she’ll do it to you.ย  Its highly likely she’s done this to many others and will target more people. Understand that behavior is so telling about a person- it’s obvious that this person is either a young thirteen-year-old who doesn’t know any better or she’s a very immature adult in her 20’s or 30’s who hasn’t had enough life experiences to achieve a shred of wisdom. Personally, I vote early 20’s.

5. I went to IPDatabase.com and looked up her IP Address. Here’s what I got:
IP Address
IP Address
Organization Riverfront Internet Systems LLC
Country United States (US) United States Flag
Host Name
IP Geolocation Details
Continent North America
Country United States (US)
Region/State Michigan (MI)
City Flushing
Postal Code 48433
Latitude 43.0761
Longitude -83.8473

According to the above info, she is a Michigander. The IP address location is Flushing, MI. And her comments came from a company computer at Riverfront Internet Systems, LLC. So, she’s either at work (surprise surprise!) and using their computers to troll other users on the internet, or she’s using their server to cloak herself.

I also took the liberty to look up Riverfront Internet Systems LLC and this is what I found:

As you can see Riverfront’s IP is listed as suspicious and has likely been blacklisted.

I may not have this girl’s name but I do have her city of location and the company she’s associated with. The company is a suspicious company, which is translation for “high-risk.” This speaks volumes. Also, the IP is a suspicious Proxy connection, and is known for abusive behavior, so it can’t be a reputable company.

I’m close enough to the mark that if the right people see this, they will know what this dunce’s name is.

Again, understand that threats of physical violence or murder should always, always, be taken seriously because you never know exactly who or what kind of person you’re dealing with and terrible things do happen.

So, do your own investigation anytime you get threats such as this. And send your evidence to law enforcement. That way, you can establish a pattern just in case the troll decides to come meet you in person and do you bodily harm. I’m not only posting this for purposes of record, I’m also doing it to warn others who could be targeted by this nutball.

Be safe! And if you have a cyber-stalker story, feel free to share in the comments below! Never be gaslighted into silence!

With knowledge comes empowerment!

  1. First, I would congratulate you for handling the cyber bullying so well. You are amazing. As I have already mentioned, you are a role model for me. Secondly, this is also a must read post for everyone on the social media. Great work. I am so proud to be associated with you.

  2. I agree with arpana12, you handled the situation extremely well. There’s this strange part of me who wants this saddo to visit my blog because it would be a bit of a laugh. I hope many people take heed of your post here.

    • Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ’– I wouldn’t want her to go after anyone else, especially a minor. Amd there are many child and teen bloggers on here. I felt like it was best to teach others how to protect themselves and handle people like her. Again, thank you so muchnfor your kindness and friendship. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ•Š

  3. Loved this. I’ve actually done the same last April but found out it was someone I know!!! I worked with them back in the 1980s. Strange and jealous dude…always conniving to get out from work.

    • Thank you so much, Jack! ๐Ÿ˜Š And, wow! Someone from that far back, you cab bet, has been keeping tabs on you. That’s creepy! ๐Ÿ˜จ I’m so glad you busted his butt! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  4. You’re doing an amazing job, Cherie. Busting them isn’t a cakewalk. It takes a lot of courage. I feel both pity & anger for these kinda people as they’re just drowning into the ocean of hatred.

I belong to the IT field & it gladdens me to know that people/you are aware of things like IP addresses.
Hopefully, every victim of trolls will stood up one day for themselves.

    • Thank you so much, Tanishq. And you’re right, it isn’t easy by a long shot because the natural human response is to lash back in the same way. It took me years (and a little bit of tech savvy ๐Ÿ˜) to learn how to peg a troll and not react out of anger or indignation. I love that you work in IT- my son also works in IT and sets up networks. I greatly appreciate your kindness and encouragement and hope you have a wonderful week ahead. ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ•Š๐Ÿค—

  5. Well done!!! I am so sorry you had to deal with this, but wow – you took care of it! I am impressed.

Proxy sites are a scourge. I delete all comments from them. I’m not even sure they are real people, but random generated auto responses designed to trigger.

Still, a threat is a threat, and you need to expose and protect yourself. Well done!

    • This means a lot. Thank you so much, Alisen! And you make a great point about the possibility that they are only bots programmed to trigger people and the proxy sites- some of them could be some kind of psyops run by nefarious interest groups. Again, thank you so much! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’–

  6. I’m sorry you have to go through this, and I hate to give these people any attention, but I have to admit I laughed at her name…

Seriously, though, especially the part about guys cheating on their girlfriends with girls like her… that reminds me a lot like a certain immature social media diva who somehow got elected to public office who recently was accused of hypocrisy, for escaping the COVID-locked-down hellhole she supported and helped to create and flying to a state with few COVID restrictions to party without a mask, and she responded with an insane tirade about how members of the other party are just jealous that they can’t date her. No, that’s not how it works; we’re just pointing out your blatant hypocrisy by stating facts. Granted, this is a tricky one because criticism of holders of political office can easily lead to bullying-type behavior. But pointing out the hypocrisy of a public official by stating facts is not in and of itself inappropriate. It comes with the territory of holding office.

    • Bingo! You make a great point about the politician and I know exactly who you’retalking about, Greg. And she’s a big time hypocrite. I also laughed at Peepee’s tirade- accusing me of being jealous of her and her claim that men cheat on their girlfriends and wives with girls like her! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜œ I also laughed at her claim that I couldn’t get a date, being that I’m a happily married woman, have been for several years, and that my husband has never cheated. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ I found her repeated replies quite entertaining!

Also, when she brags about men cheating on their women with her, I couldn’t help but think of an important truth my grandmother told me when I was a teen, when a neighbor down the street cheated on his wife and it was discovered. She said, “If a man will cheat on his wife or girlfriend, he’ll cheat on you too later on.” I never forgot that little nugget of truth. Sadly, these girls who brag about wrecking other people’s marriages never think about this. Also, when a girl dates someone else’s man, she settles for playing second fiddle. There’s no dignity in being a side chick. ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

  7. You are so welcome. I don’t think platforms like WP and others understand how these types of threats affect people. I’m so glad you fought back, and shared your story. Your step by step solution to finding them was very helpful to others going through the same thing. Hugs from Canada ๐Ÿ’–

  8. Excellent work Cherie! I rarely get trolls. But when I do I just ignore them as they are generally not threatening. But should one ever threaten physical harm I’d be al over it!! I have IT people in my family and they’d ferret them out. I would never be shy about contacting the authorities…

    • Thank you so much, Valerie. And I hear you there. My son also works in IT, as does my brother and they would do even better than I did. She threatened the wrong chica! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I’m so glad you have tech savvy family members because it really makes a difference! ๐Ÿ’ช

  9. Cherie, you are a star ๐Ÿ’ซ congratulations ๐ŸŽ‰ we looked up that in the dark web. It was a man. We are going to reblog this post. Yes, your steps were easy to follow. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒด

    • Oh, thank you so, so much! You don’t know how much I appreciate this! And bless you for looking this creep up! Thank you so much for your support and protection! You are such a blessing! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ•Š

  10. This girl got arrested for stalking last year. Two other blogs just exposed her. Sarah Posa. tiktok.com/@peepeepooperooski if you have a strong stomach

  11. Exceptionally good post for all to be cautioned! I did not imagine that here in blogging also they may run behind!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and you sorted out intelligently!
    Stay safe. Best wishes.

    • Thank you so much, Arun! The blogging world isn’t near as bad as the social media world but every once in a while, you do have a stray to wonder in from the outside. This person who trolled me isn’t a blogger because they didn’t have a website. Sometimes, you have trolls get bored with trolling social media users and come to the bloggosphere in search of new hunting grounds. Sending you best wishes too! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. WTF??? ๐Ÿคฌ Oh my gosh Cherie, I am so sorry you had to deal with such foolishness. Boy did you put her on blast though! ๐Ÿ—ฃ I don’t find any humor in her initial comment. That sounds like a death threat to me and there are some comments that simply can’t be dismissed. This is such a heinous act of abuse. Stupidity has consequences. You should have been a detective girlfriend! ๐Ÿง Now we all know who this child is. SMH ๐Ÿ˜

Keep doing what you’re doing. Obviously, you are getting under somebody’s skin. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ต

  13. Cherie, I have the same exact crackpot lunatic hitting my blog. She’s literally psychotic, and also, she’s using a VPN so the intel on the hosting company is a bounce thru. It’s actually a group of these little scum. Now, I’m considered a serious right wing hitler blegger, so DON’T go to mine LOL. If you want to PM me at my proton mail I’ll gladly give you MY intel dump as she’s been after a BUNCH of other bloggers…not just me but OMFG like everyone.

    • Thank you so much, Big Country! You don’t know how much this helps. I’ll definitely email you and we can share information. You donโ€™t know how much this is appreciated. ๐Ÿค—

  14. I and another Blogger have been dealing with Sarah Marr Posah and several of her “friends” since last Summer.
This girl is literally certifiably insane.
We have entire folders full of her insane threats and rantings.
There have been FBI complaints filed and she is supposedly facing several charges from the University she attends plus the local police pending.
Let me warn you that her and her friends have been going around to blogs they don’t agree with and raising holy hell for months, trying to get them deplatformed. They have been successful on more than one occasion.
They send themselves threatening Emaiils, blame their target and file false charges. They also repeatedly threaten lawsuits.
They are scum but not to be dealt with lightly.
She lives in Commerce Township on Anthony Pointe Ln,
I have her full address plus the names of her family members, her Dad is some mucky muck VP of a business.
Let me make this abundantly clear, you DO NOT WANT to keep feeding this troll.
I have multiple screen shots of multiple death threats and they did successfully frame some other girl, and had her arrested.

The smart move is to ban her and forget she exists.

    • Thank you so much for the information, Phil. And I have blocked her and haven’t heard from her since. I did hear from one of her friends but I blocked him too but not before taking screenshots of his comments. These sound like very dangerous people and I hope they get convicted of the charges brought against them. Again, thank you for the info! It’s much appreciated.

  15. Dang girl!!!!!! You did that and I love it. sheโ€™s a miserable person with too much time on her hands. I applaud you for finding out who this person was and sharing this valuable info. You know I had my fool a few months ago and went straight to the police!!!

  17. Good that she was caught, I don`t like people like that. Pity that I cannot solve my problem, someone stalking my husband by photoshoping my face on other people in order it looked like I have secret life, which is nasty. This nightmare lasts for more than 3 months, all our devices are hacked and our private pictures are stolen and used how they want there, they also recording us and being the third wheel in our conversations during me and my husband talking in Whatsapp. They taking screenshots of me and FBI does not help, no one believes us.

  19. Wow Cherie..how awful and how well and intelligently you handle it! You were like a pro detective, tracing it back to the source.. This has not yet happened to me (Thank God) but I admire how you fought back!! Great post:)

    • Thank you so much, Karima. You donโ€™t know how much your sweet comment means. I will post an update on this in the next few days. Other bloggers have come forth saying that they’ve been dealing with the same trolls, so I’m not the only one. I urge all bloggers to stay aware. Again, thank you, sweetie! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒน

  20. Brilliant post. It’s a sad reality that there are such cowardly people hiding behind VPNs on the internet, pitiful really, their lives can’t be very full or happy to waste time doing this, hiding in the shadows spouting hate – and for what? Nothing. Well done for standing up to them Cherie and helping the rest of us get wiser to it.โœจ๐Ÿ˜Š

    • Thank you so much, Cherryl! ๐Ÿ•Š And you’re so right, honey! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Fortunately, I know who I am and have a strong enough sense of self that I can easily blow these leeches off and out them- I thank The Lord for that. But what I’m worried about is the next blogger or internet user they hit. What if the next person is one who doesn’t have the strength to withstand these vicious attacks? What if these people go after a child or a teenager who hasn’t yet developed the processing abilities and concrete thinking skills to deal with this kind of vitriol and causes them a breakdown or to take their own lives? That really concerns me. Again, thank you, sweetie. I so appreciate your thoughts, kindness, and support. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒน

      • Your concerns are understandable and you’re right, not everyone can brush off harassment and bullying tactics as confidently, unfortunately – but the more this sort of thing is talked about openly and people get wiser, the more helpful that will be. Keep doing what you do and have a really good week ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’ซ

  21. I think Bluehair has bigger problems than just trolling. If that kind of crap is what makes trolls happy, then goodie for them. After I got trolled, I kept the first comment and my reply and deleted the rest. My other readers stepped in to help and then were attacked in turn. I changed all comments to “moderate” and solved the problem that way. Stay well Cherie. Allan

    • Thank you so much, Allan. ๐Ÿ˜Š You did great! My trolls continued to attack for a while. However, I’m happy to say that they’ve found greener pastures because I haven’t heard from them in over a week, so far, which is the longest. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ•Š

    • Thank you so much, Carl. Fortunately, with the help of a few other bloggers who’ve been hit by the same trolls, I was also able to get their facebook profiles and names. I have blocked them but it goes directly into the trash folder- it doesn’t make them disappear completely. If they come back again or I find they’re targeting other bloggers, I will post the latest info.

  22. Thank you for sharing your experience with blue hair and how you handled her harassment, Cherie. Unfortunately, there are a lot of crazies in this world. Whenever someone hurts me, I say to them or myself, “Peace be with you,” and let it go. It actually gives me peace in doing this. You can see by all the responses that you are not alone and surrounded by people who care about you.

    • Thank you so much, Mary. And you’re absolutely right about the crazies and also about letting it go. I so appreciate your kindness and encouragement. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’–

  23. Fascinating. Congratulations on having the courage and persistence to disarm this troll. And you are absolutely correct that the life of someone who engages in this sort of thing must be terribly, excruciatingly empty.

    • Right! I do too. What’s bad is that I still have to go in and clean out the spam and trash comments. And many times, good legit comments get thrown in with the spam so you have to go in and sift through it to see what you want to approve. I exposed them so I don’t need to give them any more blog space. However, I was told years ago that exposing a cyber troll would get them to go away, however, I found out that it depends on the person you’re dealing with. Thank you so much for your insightful comment! I appreciate you a lot! <3

    • Dunno. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ But I pity the person, Jan. It’s sad when someone has to resort to this in order to find some semblance of meaning in their lives. ๐Ÿ’”
