I sure will, Shira. BTW, I just turned on my sound system! I’m listening to some oldies! 1990’s!
Lisa Stansfield “Been Around the World” and “You Can’t Deny It.” I love her music! Both of these songs were on the radio when I was expecting my first child. In fact, I think that Lisa Stansfield is from your part of the world. But they played her music over here in America and we loved it!
LOL!
Back when I was a kid, oldies was 50s and 60s music! π
My part of the world?
I’m from DC! π
How did I give the impression that I was not an American?
(though I have had friends tell me that they think there must have been “a mix-up in the hospital with a visiting European mother, when you were born!”)
π
No worries, Cherie ! I had originally imagined that you were either French or Quebecois. π
If you looked me up, then my degree from University of Bath (and my occasional reversion to British English spellings, that resulted from that degree work) might have been the culprit.
Yup, they do seem to be only yesterday, but I am very glad to be done with them. For me, those years were definitely not my best decade. I was asked how I felt when I hit the 50, but I didn’t feel like I had much wisdom to give, yet. I think that we look at certain numbers with a bit too much mysticism, rather than keeping track of what we are learning and contributing every day.
I do believe in myself, my dear Cherie: I am well aware of my skillsets, of my tools, and of my intentions.
But:
while this spirit is quite willing
this flesh is rather tired.
I know I can personally do quote alot, but it is not a solo job:
Thank you for this truth, Cherie !
Stay safe,
and keep helping us all to keep learning, please!

Oh, my goodness, Shira! I’m so sorry! I thought you were from England. I guess I got you mixed up with another blogger friend. LOLOL

Gotcha! My name makes a lot of people think I’m French or Quebecois, so it’s understandable. π But I’m in Tennessee.
Oh!
π
OOPS! π
LOL!
π
π
And you must be my age because 50s and 60s were oldies when I was a kid too. LOL
It’s hard to believe that 80s and 90s are now oldies! Argh!
Yes, it is! I feel old every time people say that the 90s was 30 years ago, already!
Argh is right!
π
LOLOL Yep. I’ll be the big 5-0 this year! It’s hard to believe. The 90’s seem like only yesterday! They were my best decade!

Interesting points! π I’m sorry youbwent through so a difficult time back then.
Well, that is why I work to prevent, or to help build the tools, to prevent others from having to go through what I went through, eventually, I hope.
Hope (and alot of elbow grease!) is really we have, no?
Absolutely. Thats my goal too But! Believe in yourself. Believe you can do it and you will.

It takes a world-wide team…
I completely understand. π
